About Rete MMT Italia
Rete MMT Italia is a non-profit organization which aims at diffusing the Modern Money Theory in Italy in order to promote political choices which target both full employment and social happiness.
In particular, it pursues the goals which follow:
- Informing people so that they become aware of what the cause of unemployment is,
- Starting research programs on MMT in collaboration with schools and Universities,
- Creating a European network to promote full employment in the Eurozone,
- Promoting Italian policy-makers to introduce deficit spending policies to achieve full employment.
To advance its mission, Rete MMT Italia carries out:
- Macroeconomic surveys and research,
- Translation of academic papers of international researchers and professors,
- Production of articles on the current socio-economic scenario and on economic policies at both, national and international levels,
- Organization and promotion of awareness campaigns involving people and institutions,
- Support to local associations affiliated to Rete MMT Italia to support them to manage local activities,
- Production of papers and short movies on MMT diffused at various institutional levels,
- Training for people and institutions on MMT,
- Support and participation in events which focus on socio-economic issues.
All activities are financed thanks to fundraising initiatives.
